Terms of Use

Last updated: November 6, 2026. These terms cover the Nuri Bible app and this website, nuribible.com.

By using Nuri Bible, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Nuri Bible is a Bible reading and study app — it is not a church, a ministry, or a substitute for one.

1. Bible reading is free

Reading the Bible in Nuri Bible is free, forever. That includes the full Bible text, search, the Scroll feed, the Verse of the Day, the 7-day Peace plan, your streak, highlights and basic notes, and basic sharing. We will never put the Bible itself behind a paywall.

2. Nuri Bible Pro

Nuri Bible Pro is a paid subscription that unlocks premium features: unlimited AI Chat within fair-use caps (50 chats a day, 500 a month), unlimited Scroll stories and premium verse designs, audio Bible and offline reading, all reading plans and personalised devotionals, study notes and commentaries, a prayer journal, home and lock-screen widgets, verse image packs, and creating unlimited groups and prayer circles.

Pro costs $6.99 per week, $4.99 per month, or $39.99 per year, in US dollars, and includes a 7-day free trial once per account. Prices may vary by country and are shown in your store before you subscribe.

Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), not by us. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription automatically renews at the same price and for the same period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings (Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions) or in Google Play (Play Store, then your profile, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions). Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the current period, and you keep Pro until that period ends. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.

If you subscribe and then cancel during the free trial, you will not be charged. After the trial, the first payment is taken immediately.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe and for everything done under your account. You must be at least 13 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country if that is higher, to create an account. You may delete your account at any time in the app under Profile, then Account, then Delete Account, or by emailing support@nuribible.com. Deleting your account does not cancel a Pro subscription — cancel that in the store first, as described above.

4. The Bible text

Nuri Bible uses only public-domain Bible translations: the King James Version (KJV) and the World English Bible (WEB). Both are in the public domain and may be freely read, quoted and shared. We do not use the NIV, ESV, NASB, NKJV, NLT or any other copyrighted translation without a licence, and you must not upload copyrighted Bible text into the app.

Quotations from the KJV and WEB in the app, in verse images and in anything you share from the app are free to use. When you share a verse, keep the reference with it so people can find it.

5. AI Bible Chat

AI Chat is a Bible study helper. It can explain a verse, find a verse for a topic or a feeling, suggest a reading plan, and help you pray. It is not a pastor, a counsellor, a doctor, a lawyer or a financial adviser, and it is not God. It does not speak with divine authority, and its answers are not pastoral, medical, legal or financial advice. If you are in crisis, contact a local emergency service or a crisis helpline in your country — for example, in the US and Canada call or text 988, in the UK call Samaritans on 116 123, in Australia call Lifeline on 13 11 14, and in New Zealand call or text 1737.

AI Chat answers only Bible, faith, prayer and devotional questions, and it validates every Bible citation against real KJV or WEB text before showing it. It can make mistakes. Always check a verse in the Bible itself — the reader is one tap away — and do not rely on AI Chat for decisions about your health, your money, your legal rights, or your safety.

AI Chat runs on Google Gemini. It is available within the limits of your plan: 3 chats a day free, and 50 a day / 500 a month on Pro. If the service is unavailable, Chat will tell you honestly and offer the verse-based answers it can give without it.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Nuri Bible to harass, threaten or abuse anyone; to post hateful, sexually explicit, violent or unlawful content; to impersonate anyone; to spam, scam or mislead people; to upload content you do not have the right to share; to try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the app or its servers; or to use AI Chat for anything other than Bible study, faith, prayer and devotion. Prayer requests, posts and comments must be your own words or properly quoted Scripture.

We may remove content that breaks these rules, limit or suspend an account that repeatedly breaks them, and report unlawful activity where we are required to. You are responsible for what you post, and for keeping your prayer group a kind and safe place.

7. Your content

Your notes, highlights, prayer journal entries, posts and comments are yours. By posting them in the app, you give us permission to show them to the people you shared them with, so the feature works. We do not claim ownership of them, and we do not sell them. You can delete your own posts, comments and journal entries at any time.

8. Our content and the app itself

The Nuri Bible name, tagline, designs, verse images and the app itself are ours, or licensed to us. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial Bible reading and study. You may not copy, resell or redistribute the app, its designs or its content as your own, or use the Nuri Bible name to imply endorsement of something else.

9. No guarantees

Nuri Bible is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will always be available, that AI Chat will always answer, or that any particular result — spiritual, personal, financial or otherwise — will follow from using it. We make no promise of income, earnings or results of any kind. Nothing in these terms, in the app, or on this website is a guarantee of any outcome.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of Nuri Bible, including loss from relying on AI Chat answers. Your only remedy for dissatisfaction with the app is to stop using it and cancel your subscription.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time, for example when we add a feature or when the law changes. We will update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, tell you in the app before they take effect. If you keep using Nuri Bible after a change, you accept the new terms.
